Talent TEQ has quickly evolved, mentoring many fundamentals to bring you success both in and out of the ring. My coaching days taught me the true meaning of adaptability and the importance of spreading your wings. As with riding horses and relationships once you find the connection, trust develops and opens a whole new world. With many of my clients we get into life coaching, mental performance coaching, personal branding, character building, accountability, goal-setting, communication skills, and many times (maybe most importantly) simply being a good friend.
WHAT WE OFFER
Every college riding story starts long before recruiting does. Talent TEQ was built by someone who has lived every side of this journey: junior rider, National Champion, Associate Head Coach at the University of South Carolina, where I recruited the athletes I once was. The Complete Rider is a year-long program that helps young riders and their families navigate the rigors of college recruiting, ideally beginning around middle school, so every decision is intentional.

RIDER DEVELOPMENT THROUGH LESSONS, CLINICS, VIDEO REVIEW
Every strong rider is build on fundaments. Through private lessons, clinics, and video review we work on the skills that hold up under pressure, in the irons, through the flatwork, and in the decisions a rider makes on course all anchored in the American system of equitation. Just as important is what happens alongside the riding: building confidence, handling setbacks, and developing the habits of a rider who’s as strong in character as she is in the tack.
CONSULTING & PLANNING FOR JUNIOR CAREER AND COLLEGE SEARCH
The riders who arrive at to their recruiting period prepared are usually the ones who started planning years earlier. Pathway is where we map out the junior career together, setting goals, choosing the right shows and opportunities, and building toward college riding step by step. Along the way, we talk through the pressure, the setbacks, and the choices that come with growing up in our sport, so the plan fits the whole person, not just the results.
AGENCY-STYLE SUPPORT, INCLUDES VIDEO, OUTREACH, SCHOLARSHIP, & NIL GUIDANCE
When it’s time to connect with college coaches, we handle it the way an agent would: building a standout video, developing outreach strategies, and guiding families through official & unofficial visits, scholarship offers, & NIL. Having sat on both sides of the recruiting table, as a recruited athlete and later as a coach doing the recruiting, I know what college programs are actually looking for, on paper and in person, and I help riders show up as the kind of teammate and person coaches want on their roster.
